Booking Conditions

1 The Property known as Oak-Tree-Cottages are offered as holiday rentals subject to confirmation by  Mark & Sally Sample.

2. To reserve a gite, clients should complete the attached booking form and send it to the above address (by e-mail or by post), with a 20% non-refundable deposit.  Following receipt of the booking form and the deposit, confirmation and an invoice, as a receipt will be sent.

2a. Any reservations taken within 6 weeks prior to the date reserved must be paid for in full.

3. The balance should be paid in full not less than 6 weeks before the start of the rental.  If  payment is not received by the due date the owners have the right to give notice in writing, that the reservation is to be cancelled.  The client is liable to pay the balance in full unless the owners can re-let the property.

4. Clients are advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance to include cancellation cover, and insurance for personal belongings and public liability, as this is not covered by the owners.

5. Gites 1&2 the rental period starts from 2.00 p.m. on the first day and ends at 10.00a.m. on the last day.  

6. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and leave it and its contents in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental.

7. The client should report immediately of any breakdown of equipment or appliances, so it can be dealt with as soon as possible.

8. The owner cannot be responsible for:

1.  any temporary stoppage or defect to any public service to the property.

2. any loss, damage or injury from adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strike or any other events beyond the owners control.

3. for any loss or damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the clients if the property was to be destroyed or damaged before the start of the rental, in that case the client would be informed and a full refund would be given.

9. Under no circumstances will the owners liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owners
